They're Back!
Well, they're back. The coons are eating us out of house and home once again. There are four coons that have come up and stay within earshot just to be on hand for any vittles that might hit the cats' food bowls outside. Tonight they were lounging on the back patio. I gave them a sweet potato pie that had been in the refrigerator for a week and they were nice enough to share it with a possum. I broke down and bought them a bag of dog food the other day since it's a lot cheaper than cat food. However, discriminating coons prefer catfood. I would provide photos, but my wife is out of town and has my camera with her. So I'll give you one from icanhascheezburger.com instead.

We want to see a picture of you letting a coon fish around in your shirt pocket for treats. You remember that Duh Niece used to let Maudie climb up in her lap and get bread out of her pocket. That was the tamest wild coon that ever lived. We could just call her name in the middle of the day and she would come waddling up from the woods. She was a sweetheart.

My luck would be just as one sweet, innocent coon stuck it's little paw in my pocket another coon would jump up amongst us and all hell would break loose. They may be sweet, but they ain't big on sharing.
Here's a funny coon visitation video. I'm not sure if you've seen it, but it's typical coon behavior.
